Behind them, those peaks rise like a backdrop from another world, dramatic and fearless. Barely paying attention to the breathtaking surroundings, Nicole and Kai look at each each other like they’re sharing a private joke the wind can’t carry away. I love this kind of simple moments: two people moving forward, matching pace without keeping score, letting the day unfold one step at a time. And when you turn your head and find each other’s eyes, all that grandeur behind you somehow becomes secondary. Like the mountains are just there to remind you that real love isn’t loud, it’s constant.

The little things aren’t little at all. I always The little things aren’t little at all. I always come back to the details. The flowers you picked and adjusted a hundred times in your mind, the rings that suddenly feel heavier with meaning, the book holding your vows like a secret you’re brave enough to share, the earrings you chose because they felt like you, the shoes waiting by the door, and all those little sun-shadows dancing across the room like the day is already celebrating. It matters to me to photograph these things, not because they’re “pretty” (though they are), but because you cared. You put time into it, you made decisions, you imagined how it would feel, and you made your day yours in a thousand quiet ways. When everything later becomes a beautiful blur of hugs and happy tears, these images bring you back to the calm before it all. To the intention, the tenderness, the effort that deserves to be remembered. Which detail would you never want to forget from your day: the rings, the flowers, the vows… or something only you would notice?

The couple shooting on your wedding day is the perfect moment pressing the pause button on everything. It is the time for wind-in-your-hair, laughing because your hearts are still racing from the ceremony and you can’t quite believe this is your life now. And this is exactly why I’ll always say the couple shoot matters so much on a wedding day. Not because you “need” more photos, but because you need a moment that’s yours. A small pocket of time where you can step away from the noise, loosen your shoulders, take each other in, and let the day sink into your skin. It’s where the adrenaline turns into something softer, where the love stops being witnessed and starts being felt again. If you could steal ten minutes on your wedding day just for the two of you, what would you want it to feel like?

Paris has a way of turning ordinary seconds into something that lingers, especially when the sun catches on old stone like it’s trying to soften the edges of everything. Jaden & Justin standing in front of that weathered French façade, light breaking behind them in a quiet little flare, and the city felt suddenly far away. He pulled her closer like it was instinct and then he leaned in and whispered something that made her whole face change. Not the “look at the camera” kind of smile, but the real one. The one that happens when you feel seen in the smallest, most private way. I’ll never know what he said, and honestly I love that I don’t, because some moments are meant to stay yours: held between a mouth near an ear and a heartbeat that answers back.

Just married in the Dolomites, now running on pure Just married in the Dolomites, now running on pure adrenaline and forever. There’s this very specific moment right after the ceremony where everything shifts. The ceremony part is done, your shoulders drop, and it finally sinks in that you don’t have to hold it together anymore because the “official” part of choosing each other is already behind you. And then, apparently, the only reasonable next step is to come charging up to your photographer in the Dolomites like two wildly happy humans who just won the best possible prize: each other. I swear, the way Miriam & Ben ran toward me: cheering, laughing, completely unbothered by anything except the fact that they are married now. It’s that adrenaline-meets-relief feeling, that “wait, we really did it?” kind of disbelief, and underneath it all this steady, glowing certainty: you belong to each other, for good, for real, forever, in front of mountains that will never stop being dramatic about it.

Sunset in Lisbon, Atlantic wind, and the easiest p Sunset in Lisbon, Atlantic wind, and the easiest place to be: right there cuddled together in each other’s arms. Lisbon sunsets have this way of looking gentle while the Atlantic reminds you it’s still the Atlantic: a fresh wind that sneaks under sleeves and makes you instinctively move closer, not for the camera, not for the moment, but because your bodies already know the solution. So Stacey & John wrapped themselves around each other. I love how love can be so practical and so romantic at the same time: one of you pulling the other in, both of you sharing warmth like it’s the most natural promise in the world. Even when the wind tries to steal the comfort away. And maybe that’s what partnership looks like in real life: choosing closeness again and again, especially when it would be easier to tuck your hands in your own pockets.
