I think that’s what I love most about photographing couples here. Every time one of my couples takes a few minutes to write something like this, I have to pause for a second. Not because I expect it, but because it reminds me that what I do is about so much more than photographs.

I spend so much time hoping that my couples feel comfortable enough to be themselves, that they will forget the camera, laugh without thinking, cry without holding back, and simply be present with the person they are in love with.

I love when couples choose to do something that feels like them instead of simply standing in front of a beautiful view. Sitting by the Seine with a canvas between them, painting together while Paris quietly carried on around them, this didn’t feel like a photoshoot at all. It felt like a memory being created in real time.

I truly believe that relationships are built in moments like these. Not just in the big milestones, but in the shared experiences you’ll laugh about years later, the little adventures that become part of your story.

This is your sign to stop posing and start playing.

There’s always that moment at the beginning of a shoot when people are a little unsure what to do with their hands, their bodies, their energy… and then there are couples like this, who just decide to forget all of it and turn the whole thing into play.

Running, chasing each other, collapsing into laughter on the ground, holding on like the world is only ever meant to feel this light and suddenly it’s not a “shoot” anymore, it’s just them being completely, unapologetically in their own little universe.

And honestly, that’s the magic I’m always hoping for. Not perfect posing, not perfect stillness, but movement, chaos and joy.
